Roasted Asparagus

Ingredients

  • 1 pound asparagus spears (thick spears are best for roasting)
  • 1-2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 minced cloves of garlic
  • Kosher or sea salt to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • Lemon juice or balsamic vinegar to taste

Directions

  1. Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees
  2. Wash and trim asparagus
  3. Drizzle with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic
  4. Roast in oven for 10-12 minutues or desired tenderness
  5. Remove from oven and drizzle with lemon juice or balsamic vindegar
